It is stated that the Federal Labour members are in favour of Mr Hughes's proposal to submit the fiscalissue to »• referendum. • A meeting the pkrty •wG be held to-morrow to decide whether or not to vote solidly for the excision of the duties on tea, coffee,'cotton goods and other necessaries, making up the deficiency increased duties on luxuries, narcotics and stimulants.
