The Chief Justice g.ive iudpment to-day in the case relating to the rights of the -widows of the men killed in the Brunner mine disaster, who have re-married. TTis Honour decided that it was not till February 28th. 1900, that the stoppage of these" women's allowances by the Public Trustee became regular. Judgment was therefore given for amounts accruing up ■to that date.
