These arq by Crown Prince, 'Cedric the Saxon, Young Renfrew, and Lord Ranfurly, and will be found to be some of the best Draught Stock ever offered in Tattersail's Yards, and fully up to the standard of excellence generally exhibited by the Elderslie Stud. Intending buyers of Young Purebred Stock should not fail to be present at this Sale. These Horses have been handled and broken to Chains, and are therefore fitted to go right into hard work. [ We have also been favoured with instructions from Mr Wm. McAulay, of Windermere, Incholme, to Sell I SIX of his first-class Draught MARES 1 and GELDINGS. As it is well known that Mr McAulay possesses some of the best Clydesdale Stock in the Oamara District, it would be superfluous for us to say more than to mention that these are some of the very best of his Stock, and he is only selling them on account of his having laid down the bulk of his Farm in English Grass, and therefore having no further use for so many j Horses.
