Having run the gamut from the luxury of the millionaire to the boxcar of the hobo, with all the experiences between, Edward Leonard Dwyer, of Torrington, Conn., enlisted on August 1 m the service of the United Statea as a marine. Dwyer was at one time one of the biggest speculators m New York. He bought wheat by the hundred thousand bushels, and when he sold it lost heavily.
