COMMERCIAL. GERALDINE STOCK SALE.

There was a large attendance at the Geraldine fortnightly sale yesterday, at the old yards. The entry of sheep was about 10,000. Forward two-tooth wethers and maiden ewes brought from 13s 5d to 15s, forward lambs 10s 6d, 10s lOd to 11s Bd, store lambs 6s 3d to 9s 6d, half bred owes 9s to 13s sd, f ull-mouth halfbredß 7s to 8s Id. There was a fair entry of rams and the bidding was spirited, especially for English Leicesters, which fetched from ljgn to 4gns for two-tooths. Border Leiceaters brought up to 3gns, and Southdowns up to 2gns. Full-mouth rams also commanded good prices m all classes. There was a fair entry of pig 3 but a slow sale. Weaners brought 6s to 83. There was a fair entry of cattle and a good sale. Fat cows .£5 6s 6d, steers £3 3s to .£4103, dry cows £2 15s 6d to £3 7b 6d.
