PROCLAMATION OF SCHOOL DISTRICT. r pHE Education Board of the District of JL South Canterbury hereby publicly notifies, m pursuance of powers conferred by "The Education Act, 1877," that the following are the boundaries of the Clandeboye and Orton School Districts, the boundaries of the Orton School Distriot as heretofore proclaimed being hereby cancelled : — CLANDEBOYE SCHOOL DISTRICT. Commencing at a point on the north bank ot the Orari River where the road running between Section* 12185 and 12187 enters the river, thence south-eastwards along the Orari River to the sea, thence along the sea beach to the road forming the northern boundary of Section 15940, thence northwesterly along that road to it» junction ■with the road forming the north-western boundary of Section 24725, thence southwesterly along that road to its junction with the road forming the south-western boundary of Section 17086, thence northwesterly along that road to its junction with the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section 24825, thence- southerly along that road to its junction with the road forming the eouthwestern boundary of Section 24811, thence north-westerly along that road to its junction with the road between Section 24322 and Reserve 1841, thence south-westerly along that road to its junction with the road forming the southwestern boundary of Section 16949, thence north-westerly along tha road to its junction with the road forming the north-western boundary of Section 12182, thence southwesterly along that road to the commencing point. ORTON SCHOOL DISTRICT. Bounded on the north-west by the old railway line reserve, on the north-east by the southern branch of the Rangitata River, and on the south-east, south, and southwest by the sea, the Clandeboye School District, and the Orari River.
