As a Racehorse he was a good perftrmer. winning the Railway Stakes at Curragh, Hambleton Plate at Thirsk carrying lOst 111b, and theWelbeck Stakes, Lincoln. Pecond 7 times, amongst them the Club Cup, Manchester, l± miles, carrying list 91b, which he lost by only a head. In the English Show Ring he has never been beaten, gaining the Queen's Premium of £150 m 1894 for the Lothians. In 1895 he took first at Holsworthy and first at Tavistock, Devon. In June, 1897, he gained Ist Prize at the Royal Counties Show held at Reading, and is the only horse that ever beat m the Show Ring the Premier Queen's Premium stallion Sir Harry, same age, winner of eight consecutive Queen's Premiums value £1350, which he did at the Royal Counties Show June 4th, 1897.
