United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph— Copyright. Received March Bth, 9.50 a.m. : * London, March 7. ; Acotton-epinners trust is being formed, with a capital of £5,000,000. Thirty, two leading Manchester firms have joined. The business of Sir Thomas Lipton, ( the well known tea merchant, has been floated into a limited liability company, with a capital of £2,500,000. The vendor receives £2,466,666 m cash and shares. The new scrip is quoted at a premium of 7s 7d. The American and Canadian branches are not included m the flotation. i Received March Bth, 9 p.m. The arrivals of wool to date are 302,000 I bales, of which 99,000 bales have been i forwarded direct to the manufacturing . centres, and 223,000 bales are available for the ensuing sale. The Board of Trade returns for February show that imports decreased m value by £1,474,290, and exports by £222,833, compared with the same month r last year.
