The German steamer Melita Bohlen rescued 31 of the crew of the steamer Drurnmond, as the latter was on the point of sinking, off the coast of Africa. Germany and Austria are willing to abolish the sugar bounties, but the convening of the conference to deal with the matter rests with Belgium. THE GREEK BUDGET. Athens, January 9. The Budget makes no provision for raising a loan for the payment of the war indemnity to Turkey. The estimated revenue for the year is 87,000,000 drachmas, and the expenditure is estimated at a similar sum. A MURDERER CAUGHT. London, January 9.
