NKLSON, May 17.

The following programme has been adopted for the celebration of the Queen's Jubilee m Nelson :— Sunday— Thanksgiving services; Monday— Athletic sports ; Tuesday— Grand procession and demonstration, a children's gathering and fireworks at night, also church services ; Wednesday— RaceH, when £200 will be given m stakes (the profits of the races are to go to the Hawkes Bay relief fund), terminating with a jubilee ball. Arrangements are being made with the Union and Anchor Shipping Companies for cheap excursions.

DUNEDIN, May 17.

At a meeting of the School Committees' Conference it wa» decided to celebrate the record reign by having a mass gathering of children from the city and suburban schools, who will sing the National Anthem to the accompaniment of a brass band. It is probable each child will be presented with a medal or memento of the event.
