The victim of the assault and robbery last Saturday night, James Mcintosh, is still suffering greatly from the' effects of his injuries. Although he recovered consciousness some time ago hei remains m a semi-dazed and' muddled. oondition. Mcintosh's life is not despaired of, but as a precaution, and oh the advice of Dr De Lisle, his depbsitiohß were taken yesterday afternoon. Great difficulty was experienced m getting him to tell his story, but finally a fairly .clear, statement was obtained.
