(By Telegraph. > NEW PLYMOUTH, December 8. The Petroleum Company have juat succeeded m recovering the whole of the drilling tools which were lost down the bore 2000 feet deep about a month ago. Packing operations to shut off the water will now be resumed, and Mr Samuel, managing director, expects by the end of the week that tlie oil will be coming up pure m quality at the rate of about eight barrels per diem. During the fishing for the tools oil has continued to fiow freely at intervals.
