"Analysis of No. 1 (2s) and No. 2 (2s 4d) 1 Saxon ' Brand Teas. " On examination of the leaves, both dry and wet, no foreign substances, leaves, facings, or otherwise could be detected. The extract and ash are as follow:— No. 1 (2s)— Extract, percent., 32-85 ; Ash, 5-9. No. 2 (2s 4d)-Extract, per cent., 34*5; Ash, 56. The above analyses show both samples pure and of good quality, and free from adulteration. "(Signed) A. W. BICKERTON, " Colonial Analyst."
