(By Telegraph.) WANGANUI, May 29. At the Borough Council chambers today a b y> and enthusiastic meeting of settlers irom all parts oi' the district assembled to hear an address from Mr D. J. Nathan on his scheme for the improvement of the frozen meat trade. At the conclusion of the address a hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Mr Nathan and the following resolution Wiis carried unanimously — "That this meeting desires the Minister of Agriculture to call a meeting of delegates from the various agricultural and pastoral associationSj farmers clubs, and meat export companies to discuss the present position with a view of suggesting a scheme, either Mr Nathan's or some other."
