THE WINTON MURDER CASE.
(By Telegraph.) INVERCARGILL. May 23. The Courthouse was crowded this morning when Minnie and Charles Dean were jointly charged with murder. Inspector Pardy stated that since the last remand it had been ascertained that the name of the child taken by Mrs Dean from Wiriton on the 2nd May and supposed to have disappeared between Dipton and Lumsden, was Dorothy Edith Carter. As the inquest was pending a further remand was granted for seven days. _________________
