The flagstaff of Timaru is situated m 171deg 17.20min East longitude ; and 44deg23min south latitude. ARRIVED. Jan. 16— Orowaiti, s.s., 286 tons, Spedding, from Dunedin. Jan. 16— Blenheim, ship, 1077 tons, Colville, from Dunedin. SAILED. Jan. 16— Orowaiti, s.s., 286 tons, Spedding, for the north. IN HARBOUR. Ships — Invercargiil, Blenheim. Barque — Bankville. Schooner— Glencairn. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Duke of Westminster, s.s., early VESSELS HOMEWARD BOUND. Vessel. Days out. Lizzie Bell (Captain Whelan) ... 26 The ship Invercargiil has hauled off from the Moody wharf, a full ship. She sails to-day. The s.s. Orawaiti arrived from Dunedin yesterday to land 30 tons of merchandise, and take m 200 tons of produce for Napier and Greymouth. She went on north at 5 p.m. The ship Blenheim, from Port Chalmers m ballast, hove m sight about midday yesterday, and the Timaru steamed out and picked her up. She got into port about 3 p.m., and was swung to her chains at the chequer buoy. The Blenheim takes the berth vacated by the Invercargiil and loads for Home.

Napier, January 16. Arrived —Margaret Galbraith, ship, Captain Collingwood, after a lengthy passage of 123 days from London, which place was left on September 14th. She did not cross the equator until 44 days out. When m lat. 44deg., long. 22deg. E., the ship met with a large number of icebergs, and hove to embayed m ice for six days.
