FATAL GUN ACCIDENT.
(By Telegraph.) OPUNAKE, January 14. George McNeal, aged 19, son of the lighthouse-keeper at Cape Egmont, was found dead on Saturday night with a gunshot wound m the head. From the position of the body and gun it appeared that as he was going through' the bush he got entangled m a supplejack and to save a fall propped the gun m front receiving the charge full m the forehead.
