REID'S SUICIDE.

♦- THE BODY FOUND. (By Telegraph.) LYTTELTON, January 10. After persistent dragging the police found the body of the missing man Reid m the harbour this morning, a few yards from the engine-house. A piece of iron piping, about 701bs weight, was tied round the neck by a handkerchief, which Reid had torn m halves for the purpose. From the place the body was found deceased had evidently gone down an iron ladder at the end of the wharf and dropped m between the first and second row of piles. &
