New South Wales were confident of suoceis end made a forward game. Tha local forwards were quite a match for them and Sydney was beaten m every department of the game. The looal baoks wero tar superior, passing beautifully, and fairly outstripping Wales m speed and amartnest. All five tries emanated from passing rushes. 1 hree tries were converted. Just on the call of time Wyburd Boored for the visitors, Cobb failing to oonvert. AHhoogh the weather was threatening over 1500 people wore preient, and an extremely impartial game waa fought good naturedly although it was rather rough at times.
