SUPREME COURT.
(BY TBIiHGBAFH.) 3 WELLINGTON, Jtjly 10. In the Divorce Court this afternoon the case of Wigg was dealt with. The petitioner, Alice M?.ud Wigg, sought a dissolution of her marriage with Joseph Walter Wigg on the ground of oruelty and desertion. The evidence showed that the parties were married m Auckland m 188 b, and that the husband deserted hie wife at Waikomniti m 1888, and that he is now living at Hastings with another woman. A decree nisi was granted. DUNEDIN, July 10 In the Divorce Court to-day, m the suit of Nicoll v. Niooll and Macneil, the jury gave a verdict for £250 damages, and a decree uisi was granted. The evidence showed that the co-respondent travelled to and from Australia* with respondent. Hearing rumours concerning his wife, petitioner pretended that he was proceeding to the Heads, as he frequently did, but instead of going he returned to his own house late at night.and found Mao,neil there with his wife A struggle ensued. Macneil was kicked out and le left Dunedin a few days later. Costs were given against Macneil, the alloca'ion of damages and the wife's costs to stand over.
