THE WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.

(B* Tbkb&baph.) DUNEDIN, Maboh 10 The Conference resolved to allow Messrs H. B. Bellhouse and J. A. Crump to remain at Wesley College lor another year. A committee were appointed to report on the practicability of s mission of women to Maori women. The report of the Jubilee ■Thanksgiving Committee showed that s-ecoipis and promises amounted to £10,252 9s 4d. A Jeogthy report on the Church Property-Trust Act was submitted. The Rev. H. Bull, m moving the adoption of the report, referred to the opposition and misrepresentation which they had had to contend with. After an animated debate, thn report was adopted. The Bey. Mr Garland and the Rev. Mr Harding were appointed to draw np a statement for record of the caw connected with the paising of the Act. On the subject of Methodist union a reiolution wai adopted ihat the Conference approve generally at the htM\t of union submitted by the committed and that it be referred for consideration to the June qnarterly meeting, <and to the various district msetinge, to report i» next Conference ; and a comanittee were appointed to make further suggestions m connection with committees of other Methodist Churches.
