(Pbb ELfcoTsio Telegbafh— Cofykioht.) (Per Press Association.) (Received 1 a.m., September 17th.) MORE ABOUT DIBBS. .London, Sept. IG. Official circles are sceptical of the existence of the Queen's autograph letter urging the Premier of New South Wftles to accept honour, ond tho statement that after tho meeting between the Prince of Wales and Sir G. R. Dibba at Warwick ahow, the members of tho former's entourage endeavoured to elicit from the Colonial Premier what honour would be acceptable to him, implying that a Kuight Commander of St. Michael and St. George waa available. Sir George replied that he waa willing to accept anything provided that it was a personal investment by the Queen, but would prefer being appointed to the Privy Council or created a Commander of the Bath. However, when informed that the latter was impossible, as he must be a Companion of the Order first, he accepted aK.C.M.G., and owing to his early departure for America immediate investiture was conferred, instead of waiting f r tbu next batch of honours. This departure is a custom and was uot peculiar to the case of Sir G. Dibbs. THE TYSER LINE. Messrs E. M. Kelson, of Nelaon Bros., W. Corry, and T. B. Royden of T. Hoyden and Sons, have joined the directorate of the Tyeer line of steamers. It is believed that the Tyser line intend to build more ateamors for the colonial frozan meat trade. PERSONAL. Mr H. B. Rnby, M.P. for Ecclea, is to shortly leavo on a visit to Sydney.
