It is reported that Orme waa insured dfor £10,000 against his Btarting fur the Derby, and it is, believed that this fact lied to his being poisoned. (Received 7.45 p.m. May 6th.) Tho amount insured against Orme'e Btarting for the De<rby was £1000 not £10,000. Evidence has been secured that before the aliegsd poiaoning of tbe colt there had been a very large amount ol betting both m England and abroad, m small amounts, against his afcartim;. [Received 1.10 a.m., May 7th.) May C. The Lancet throws doubt upon the supposed poiaoning of Orme. [Special Jo Press Assooiation.] (Eeceived 7.30 p.m., May 6th.) London, May 5. It is stated that the Duke of West minster intends to start Orme for th( Derby at all hazards, if only tc thwart the suspected swindlers who art expecting to make money out of thi horse's illness.
