— . The number of voters on the new electoral rolls for the Victorian Assembly is 290 029, being an increase on the year 1888 of 28,418 ratepaying electors, and 17,885 non-ratepaying electors. A Broken Hill minor had charged a hole, and while being hauled out of tho way, the bucket caught m the timber, and he was precipitated a distance of 23 feet, right on to the fizzing fuse.
