TO THE EDITOR OF THE TIMARU HERALD. Sir, — Thanks for insertion of mino of yesterday. I did not intend to insinuate anything against the presont permanent enginonr. Ab you are aware there is almost alwnys a certain amount of profeieionnl sympathy for ono another, bo they engineers, architects, &c. Henco roports (used on information obtained from a brother profoßfional are not liko'y to be purely and simply the consulting man's own opinion, as if ho had not the information from his brother professional.
