THE TIM ARU NAVALS.
The officers and mon of the Timaru NftVß.l Artillery entertained Lieutenant Commandant Gooch at a amoko concert at the Commorcial Hotol last evening, Lieutonant-Oolonel Bailey, offloer m command of the diatrict, occupying the ohair by request, and Captain Jowsoy and other officers of the garrison being presont hy invitation. There waa a very large muster of the navals, and a couple of hours were pleasantly apont m apoech, song, and general harmony. Lioutenant Goooh mado a happy reply to tho toast of his health, and expressed deep regret, Bhored m by all his men, at having to sever his connection with a corps whose welfare he had ao much at heart.
