LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
The Council met at 2.30 p.m. nTDETBTBIAL SCHOOL. Mr Stevens gave notice to-morrow to move for a Select Committee to enquire into the beat practical system to be adopted with regard to, the management of Industrial Schools. THE IATH ITS TOBNDOH.. Sir F. 'Whitaker moved the adjournment as a mark of respect to the memory of the lata Mr Turnbull. He paid a high tribute to the memory of the deceased member. Mr Buckley seconded the motion m a feeling speech. Tho motion was agreed to. The Council adjourned at 2.40 p.m.
