(Br Tblegbaph.) ADDINGTON LIVE STOCK MARKET. CHEISTCHURCH. Juno 10, There was a good atiendauco at Addington market to-daj', and business was brisk m most soctiona. SHEEP. Only about 2000 stores wore penned, of which tho majority were small crossbreda of no particular pretension to quality, and a few lino 3of old sheep. The 2-tooth mixed crossbreds realised from Sa 9d to 11s 9d, and aome sound-monthed ewes fetched 7s. Odo lino of crossbred owes m limb bronght 8s 2d. Some meri° wethera sold at 2s lOd for boiling. There was a very small entry of fat lamna.bnfc little demand for anything hut the primest quality, some pens of which realised np to 183. Over 6000 fat sheep wero yarded, the g renter portion being ewes. A fow very nico lines of crossbred wether mutton sold freely for export. Thoro was an apparent siackneca m the market at first, bnt it was ovideut that tho prica of best qnality mutton did not warrant the quotation of a drop m prica. CATTLE. Tho entry of fat cattlo comprised only 130 head, bnt the quality was decidedly above tho average. Best sort 3 fetched 18s to 203 per lQOlbs, inferior from 13* npwards. Thoro was a fair entry of odd lots of dairy and store cattle, but the business dono was not brisk oicept for good eorts of dairy cows and Bpringers, which brought pood prices. PIOS. There wero abont GOO piga, nearly all baconcrs of good quality.
