At a labour meeting to-day, representing 120,000 employees, resolutions were carried m favour of amendments to tho factory laws as adopted by the union, and tho creation of a sick and accideut assurance fund. The congress of the Labour Electoral Association, sitting at Hanley, recommends tho payment of membora of tho House of Commons.
