GERALDINE TOWN BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the board was held on Tuesday evening last, thero being present Messrs W. 3. ilaaiin (chairman), R. iaylor, N. Dunlop, A. White, J. Williams, A. -;herralt, and J. Mundell. For the post of clerk there were three applications, namely, Meßsrs J. Wilson-Smith, - H. N. Hiskens, and A. Fisher. Mr H. N. Biskons was appointed. f Accounts amounting to £39 3s lOd were . passed for payment. I The rangers' report was read and approved. I Mr C. E. Sherratt requested the hire of J roller, and the use of part of the road for tl mixing asphalte. n The request was granted. The meeting then adjourned till Monday _ evening next, at 7.30 p.m.
