REVIEWERS' COURT.

A sitting of tho Court of Reviewers, under "Tho Property Assessment Act," was held at the court house yesterday morniDg j Messrs Sterricker, Poatiethwaite, and Butter, reviewers. Mr E. P. Bealoy, assessor, waa present to , Sustain bis valuations. The following reductions were made : — Alexander Cullman, i-aero section of land ' and dwelling house, Olipua ward, reduced i from £160 to £100. Sarah Bell, Seadown, 127 acres 3 roods 38 perches, reduced m size by 2 acres 1 rood 8 perches, which was token for a road, and m value from £1183 to £1008. Frauds Hoskius, Otipua ward, IG7 acres, valued at £1053 j reduced by £20 on the recommendation of the assessor. BOEOUtHI 01' TIMABI'. Mr T). M. Ross, fhe assessor, appeared to sustain his valuations. Section 256, Clarendon Hotel, va'ued nt £tOOO ; reduced to £3500. Section 70, Bank of New Zealand and Loan and Mercantile Agency Building, £11,000; confirmed. Sections 104 and 195, Thomas Cabot, 21 perches, Salvation Army Barracks and shops, £650; confirmed. Section 64, Barnard street, Denis Devinc, £500 Vreduced to £100, Mr Ross consenting. Part section 85, Great North Road, Kuthcrfurd and Mcc, valued at £3000 ; reduced to £2500. Section 362, Edward street, 1 rood, Sturrock and Storrier ; transferred to John Storrier as owner and occupier. Section 252, Arthur street, 1 rood, Timaru Woollen Factory, Mr Wood, valued at £3000; confirmed.
