FATAL BOAT ACCIDENT,
THEEE YOUTHS DROWNED. (By Teleukaph.) CBBI3TCHURCH, Jt<ly 20. Three young men named James MoGrath, 16 years of aae, William Yullick, 21, and Fredk. Gullick, 14, were drowned in the Avon near Puschel's wool works at half-past ten o'clock this mornii g. They were crossing the river in a boat with Edwin Round and Thus. Gullick, when the boat capsized. The two men last named got ashore safely. The bodies have not yet been found. Later. At 10.30 a.m. to-day five young men, J? nes McGrath, William Gullick, Freder jk Gullick, Thomas Gullick, and Edward Round, employed at Pnschel's fellmongery at Dalliogton, endeavoured to cross the Avon in a flat-bottomed boat in order to go home, as the flood prevented work at the fellmongery. When in mid-stream the powerful current upset the boat. Some persons on the bank saw the accident, and procuring an ordinary boat, went to the rescue. They saved Round and Thomas Gullick, the others being carried away by the stream. The police dragged the river for the bodies and recovered that of Frederick Gullick.
