♦ Annio Taylor, a domestic, aged 23, died under peculiar circumstances at Newcastle^ New South Wales, n few days ago. A diseased cat, uttering fearful cries of distress, entered the room where the deceased was sitting after eating a hasty dinner. The girl was much frightened, ran upstairs, becamo unconscious, and died in less than three hours, death resulting from paralysis of the brain.
