ARRIVED. Sept. 25— Beautiful Star, s.a., from Oauiarn. Sept. 26— Kakanui, s.s., from Timarn. SAILED. Nil. The mail stoamor Tainui, Captain Barlow, arrived to-day from Plymouth via Capo of Good Hope and Hobart with 115 passenger 3, 18 baga mails, and 2500 tons of cargo, after an excellont passage of 41 days, 5 hours and SOminntes. Tho health of tho passengers has beou excollcnt, and Captain Barlow has boon presented with a testimonial. Blitfp, Sept. 2G. The Wairarapn left Melbonrno at 5 p.m. on the 22nd ; passed Williamstown at 6 p.m. ; Swan Island at 1.30 p.m. on the 23rd ; breasted tho Solander at 10 a.m. on tho 26th, and arrived at 2.45 p.m. Had light north-westerly winds with fine weather thronghont. Passengers for tho Bluff : Saloon— Messrs Nichols, Scrutton, Holmes, Rattray; for Dnnedin— Messrs Rhode 3, Blackly, Andorson, Buckley, Benjamin, ChatQold, Bayley, Mr and Mrs Huggius, Mr and Mrs Lodgo and two infants, Mr.s .Sherman, Miss Plaisted ; for Lyttolton— Mr StonniDgj for Wellington— Messrs Grnber, Gorman, Mrs Clifton and child ; for Auckland — Mr Noyes.
