Tho Cup will not bo awarded unless there bo at least six exhibitors, but it will bo available for tho samo object at noxt year's show. Maximum number of points to bo 18, thus apportioned. Early maturity, 6 : wool, 6 ; carcaso, 6. Special entry. The Association offer a prizo of £5, m addition to £5 offered by Mr William Balfour. For tho best Dray Boot-cutting Machine, to bo drawn by not moro than two horses, tho roots to bo dropped on the ground cut to size suitablo for sheep, certainty of automatic feeding, nnd capability of cutting tho largest quantity m a given time, to be specially considered, the dray to hold not less than 15cwt of roots. The Association offer a prizo of £5 for a Turnip Drill, to bow from 501bs to 2001bs to an aero of Bono-Dust or Super-phosphate m tho same drills, To bow from 6ozs to 21bs of turnip seed to tho acre, suitable to sow either lovol or down lands. Tho Association offer a prizo of £3 for tho best Automatic Chaff box, for feeding sheep, to hold not los 3 than ton bags, to bo wind and water proof, and to be easily movable. Mr James King offers a first and second prizo of £3 and £2 respectively, for tho best yearling colt or filly, by Qunuiby. Mr J. Ballantyno gives a prize of £2 2s for tho best Jar of Salt Butter suitablo for export. This exhibit samo conditions as for Potted Butter, must bo left with tho Secretary on or beforo Saturday, Soptomber 25th. Mr J. Ballantyno gives a prize of £2 2s for the best Checso suitable for export. Mr A. Grant offers a prizo of £2 for the best English Leicestor IS we, wilh ox- without lamb at foot. Mr S.
