CATTLK. At tho Waghlyko yards no beef waa yarded. This is to bo regretted, as aomo of tho butchers woro completely ont and would havo boon glad to fill their requirements. Wo quote primo quality 23a, and medium 20a per lOOlba. Store3 — Nothing of any importance hua taken placo. Thero ia a demand for yonnf» steer 3 and heifera, also two and threo-yoar old stoora. As spring advances tbia clnsa of atock will sell well. SHEEP. Fat. — No alteration hi valnsa and anpply havo taken placo. Good crossbred wethers are bringing at tho Washdyko yards from 123 to 14s por head ; private sales havo been mado •np to 15a to 16a. Stores. — Wo note tho demand for croasbrofla considerably better, especially hogg-eta and two and four-tooths. Privately wo havo placed 'WO hoggets, and hava transactions for other lots, similar to tho above, ponding, with furthor onqniries for 5005 to 6000 hoggets and two and four-tooth wethord, for immediate delivery. SHEEPSKINS. At our usnal fortnightly sale, held on Wednesday lust, tho fino weather wo havo experienced during tho past week or bo haa enabled follmongers to work down their accumulated stocks. Thia with tho continued good reports of tho wool market, cauaed them to muster m full forco and bid freely for ovory lot submitted. Wo catalogued abont 2000, with Bevoral line 3of station skiua ; competition all through waa keen nnd good prioes wero obtained. Best butchora' crosabroda, 4a 6d to 4a lid ; second quality, 3s Gd to 4a 3d ; butchora' morinoa from 2a 10(1 to 3s 2d ; factory merinog, 3a lOd ; country line 3 from 13 Cd to 33 lOd according to sizo aud quality. HIDES. The market is somewhat weaker nnd prices have receded. Quotations aro as followa: — 601 b, 3Jd to 4d, for beat quality ; 3d to 3}d, for medium ; 2,jd to 2jd per 1b others. At tho abovo prico3 wo havo put through a conBiderablo number.
