(By Telegraph.) • CnnißTonußcir, Sept. 6. The now Salvation Army Barracks m Market Square, which cost £2500 and will seat 1800 persons, were opened to-day by Commissioner Howard from Australia. About 400 Salvationists from other parts of tho colony, besides the local corps, were present, besides large crowds of tho public. The streets around tho building were densely thronged, but no disturbance occurred.
