♦ (Per steamer at the Bluff). (By Tbibgbaph.) Mblboueub, July 20. News has arrived at Cooktown by steamer of a case of piracy and murder m Acheen. The Dutch steamer Hok, of Canton, was anchored at Bigas. A large number of Aolieeneee collected on board the steamer, rushed on the captain, seriously wounded him and his wife, and shot the mate and engineer dead. They then rifled the vessel of a large sum of money which was aboard for trading purposes. Captain Hanaen and Mm Hanson were taken ashore, where the former d.ed of his wounds. Six of the crew were also seized, and the pirate chief Tonka Omar demands a ransom of 60,000 dollars. A body of Dutch troops left for the purpose of rescuing the prisoners. Abbultdb, July 20. Intelligence from the various country districts testifies to the great benefits of the rainfall, which has extended from Farina, to Adelaide. The fall was only light, and more is wanted. There is not much further news from Kimberley.
