The statement previously telegraphed that Sergeant Grimes, Queensland, was eligible to compete m the second stage of the Queen's prize is incorrect. (Reoeived's p.m., July 17th.) •At "Wimbledon to-day, m firing for St. George's Challenge Vase and Dragon Cup (seven shots at 500 yards), the highest English score maximum was 35. Lieut. Golding, Tasmania, was the only Australian competitor, who scored 164, but is ineligible to compete m the final stage. The following prizes were won by the Australians : — Sergfc.
