(By Telegraph.) ADDINGTON LrVE STOCK MARKETS. Christcihjrch, March 21. Fairly largo supplies of sheep and cattlo wore sent to tho Addington Yards to-day. In fat sheep thcro was perhaps a slightly bettor demand for tho best lots of wothers, and tho prices showod a tondonoy to harden, though thoro was no actual advance m values to record. For second rate lines, of which tho bulk of tho entry consisted, thoro is no improvement. Good crossbred wothors sold at 8s to Os 3d, medium and second rate quality mixed owes and wethers 5s 6d to 7a, morino 4s to 03, mutton at lid per lb, lamb met with a dull demand and brought from 3s to 6s. There was a numerous entry of store sheep. Business was exceedingly dull, and, even with tho low prices which have been ruling for somo time, sevoral lots had to bo passed m. Tho principal sales were lines of good sound wouthed orossbred owes at from 2s 9d to 3s 6d, Down ewes at ss, ditto lambs at 33 4d, and merino ewes at Is and la 2d. In fat cattle no alteration, either m valuo or demand, can bo reported. Good stoer3 sold at from £G to £7 15s, the latter prico being obtained for very heavy weights. Fat heifers and cows brought from £t to ,£6 10s. Beef 10s to 18s per lOOlbs. Business continues oxtremoly dull m store cattle, and very tow sales wore made. Of dairy cows thoro was a largo number yarded, and for good sorts buyers can readily bo found at satisfactory prices. Inferior description, of which there wore a considerable number on offer, are hard to quit, and valuos aro exceedingly low. Tho pig markot was well Buppliod. "Very few lots mot with anything liko a brisk demand, and for most lower prices had to be accepted. Storo pigs sold at from 4s to 16s, and porkers from IDs to 275. The pigs which brought the latter prico woro exceptionally good.
