Jan. 1G — Wanaka, s.s., 228 tons, Russell, from Dunedin. Jan. 10— Pnreora, ship, 879 tons, Bungard, from tho Bluff. SAILED. Jan. 16— Wanaka, s.a., 22S tons, Russell, for Nelson and way ports. Wareatea left Wostport on Friday night for this port with a cargo of coals for Mr Ebenezor Smith, and may bo oxpoetcd today. Tho schooner Spray took m a quantity of stores at the wharf on Saturday and oleared at tho Customs for Stewart Island. Sho was hanlod off to the outer bnoys, and sailed yosterday afternoon, with a nor'-casterly breeze. Tho Union Company's h.s. Wanaka arrived from Dunedin on Saturday morning with about 90 tons of genoral merchandise, and sailed m tho evening for Nolson and way ports with a load of wool and produce. Tho three-masted schooner Reward will oomo to tho wharf this morning to discharge her coals. When discharged sho will load produoo for Nelson on account of tho Royal Flowing Mills. After an absenco of some four or five years tho N.Z.S. Company's ship Pareora returned to Timaru on Saturday. Sho is now under tho command of Captain R. J. Bnngard, this being his first trip to Timarn, though ho has traded for yoar3 to Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Napier. Ho was second officer of tho Tongariro on her two first voyages. Mr F Wil3on is first officer. Tho Pareora left tho Bluff at 4 p.m. on Thursday last, had light S.S.W. winds to Oamarn, and thonce light easterly till arrival at 4 p.m. Sho comes m ballast to load wool for Home, and will probably bo brought alongsido tho Breakwater this morning.
