Tho ship Canterbury was still m sight of port at an early hour on Satnrday morning. The barque Hudson was docked at Lyttelton on Friday, and on examination it was found that the vessel had sustained no damage through stranding on the beach at Milford Lagoon. The barquentine Ocean Ranger finished loading for Brisbane at the wharf on Satnrday afternoon, and was haulod off to the buoys. She was towed to sea by tho p.s. Titan yesterday morning. The ketch Comet finished loading at the inner wharf on Saturday afternoon, and olearad at the Customs for Wanganni with a full load of produce shipped by the Royal Flouring Mills. She was expected to sail with tho first change of tho wind. Tho Union Company's 8.8. Taiaroa arrived from Dnnedin on Satnrday morning with some 90 tons of general merchandise for this port. She took up a berth at tho main wharf and after discharging her inward cargo and taking m a quantity of wool and flour, she sailed abont six o'clock m the evening for Nelson and way ports. Mr A. White's barquentine Annie Bow completed her loading at the outer wharf on Saturday, and cleared at the Customs for Sydney. She wa3 hauled off to the buoys m the evening, and yesterday morning was towed to sea by the p.s. Titan, and given a good offing. Shi- takes a full load of produce on acoount of Mr William Evans. Some curiosity was occasioned at the breakwater about midday on Saturday when a fullrigged ship was observed bearing down on tha port with all sail set, and at first it was thought ahe was the ship Canterbury running book into port wind bound, but on her standing close m to the breakwater she was discovered to be the ship Wellington, Captain Cowan, 98 days out from London to Lyttelton. After reporting herself "all wellj" ahe stood out to sea again, and was soon out of sight.
