A VESSEL IN DISTRESS.
Napibk, Oct. 13. The brigantine Dnnedin, bonnd from Meronry Bay to Dunedin, pnt m t<>-day m a distressed state. When off Cape Kidnappers ■he experienced a heavy sontherly gale, and rai for shelter, and made for the lee of the Cape. On coming round she ran on a blaok reef, and commenced to fill rapidly, but having a cargo of timber, it kept her afloat. She made for Napier roadstead, and was towed inside.
