Turnbnll, agent: 540 tons coal. Consignee — J. Jaokaon. The barqne Examiner was towed m to a berth at the outer wharf about eight o'clook yoeterday morning. She only put ont about three trucks of coal during the day. The brig Niagara will bo towed to sea the first thing this morning. The schooner Onward was taking m produqe at the wharf yesterday for Napier. She ia expected to finish loading and sail to-day. The sohooner Crest of the Wave arrived from Stewart Island, with a (nil load of timber consigned to Mr John Jackson, yesterday afternoon, and was berthed at the Duoys. She left the Island on Tuesday, and oxporienood heavy seas with moderate weather on the run up. The brigantine Anthons wonld have finished loading produce for Greymonth at the inner wharf yesterday had her cargo come to hand. However, she is expected to finish off and sail this afternoon. The barque Bells, Captain Moore, hove m sight off Patiti Point late yesterday afternoon, and was soon afterwards pioked up by the p.s. Titar. and towed m and berthed at the outer buoys. Captain Moore reports leaving Newcastle on the 16th nit. with a light S.E. wind, which lasted till the 23rd, when it veered round to the northward and blew from N. to N.E. Passed through Foveaux Straits on Tuesday, and had light northerly winds np the coast till ten o'clock yesterday morning, when it freshened up from the sonth.
