The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, limited, report of the Sydney markets under date September 23rd as follows :— WHBAT. New Zealand chickwheat keeps m abundant supply, and prices show no improvement on late rates of 2a 6d to 2a Bd. BABLXY. Bemaiss without alteration since our last. OATS. la oonseqaeuce of wet weather and the "fall" m mails, this market is not quite so firm, though valuta have not suffered to any appreciable extent. Possibly a reaotion may set m shortly, but present indications scarcely favor the anticipation. Quotations are up to 2s 6d for bright stout heavy feed, discolored samples 2s to 2s 2d. BEAK Remains very firm at Is 2d to Is 2Jd, at which prioe late consignments have all been placed. POTATOES. As the season is now drawing to a close, bnyers do not care to speculate, and m the (ace of lares supplies still to come from New Zealand, the opinion is that values must gre&Sy decline. We have been enabled to place our consignments per Hauroto at Jui 5s and £A 7s 6d, though at the moment sales cannot be made to arrive c.i.f. at over J&3 12a Gd. ThOVB. Business m this line remains very doll, and ■ales of any magnitude cannot be made except •t concessions npon late rates. KKW ZEALAND MEATS. As the summer season is now approaching we look fov increased business. The demand, however, •will probably be for the best descriptions of 2tt> tins. Tierced beef is very dull.
