The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, reports of the local markets as follows : — Shipping wheat, 3s lid to 4s, to effect sales low prices must be accepted ; malting barley very sluggish at 3s 6d to 4s 5d ; New Zealand oats, feeding sorts, are quieter at 2s 9d to 2s lid ; do m lting, quieter but steady at 2s to 3s 2d ; New Zealand oats, under bond, 2s to 2a 3d ; rye-grass seed is m fair demand at 3s 9d to 4a 6d.
