Passengers — Mr and Mrs Haslett, Miss Lake, Mrs Northcroft, Messrs George, Bennett, Halcombe, Ingram, Fnllwon, A. Smith, John Owen and F. S. Marshall. Wangantji, April 29. The brigantine F. S. Lucas was floated off the South Spit this morning, and is now being towed up the river. Wellington, April 29. Sailed — Ringarooma, s.s., for the South. Passengers — Mrs Hill, Misses Rookotts, Hislop and Thorpe, Mrs Macdonald, Misses Johnson (3), Mr and Mrs Kanitzer and family, Mr and Mrs Stronge and two children, Mesdames Tillotaon and Beotzsoh, Messrs Robertson, Thorpe (2), Tweed, Allen, Gibson, Pritchard, Simons,. Hill, Macdonald, Hellish, Hannay, Morrison, Gibson and Dymocks, and Major Cautley. The R.M.S. Kaikoura arrived at midnight. The passage occupied '15 days. Tho delay was caused principally through tho vessel having the misfortune to lose two blades of her propeller. She left London on March 12th, and Plymouth two days later, and made tho fastest run on record (4 days 3 hours 20 minutes) to Teneriffe. The day after leaving there a propeller blade was lost. The Cape ■was reached on April 4th, when a diver replaced the blade, and she started again two days later. Three days out, however, another blade was lost. The Kaikoura did not call at Hobart. She brings 3fri passengers, including 180 Government immigrants for all ports. One death occurred on the voyage, otherwise all are well on board. The emigrants by the Kaikoura are distributed as follows : — Wellington, 21 ; Nelson, 13 ; Otago, 35 ; Invercargill, 6; Taranaki, 4; Auckland, 12; Canterbury, 30 ; Hawke'a Bay, 12 ; Marlborough, 2 ; Westland, 5.
