MAORI FANATICISM.
(By Telegraph.) Auckland, March 28. A correspondent writing from Hokianga on Thursday lost says Mori still holds forth at Kaikoke. A large square is formed with whiires around, and all within tho boundary is laid down as sacred ground, and is rpserved for the elect. The number of her followers is increasing daily ; the latest accounts state the total to be 1500t01600. Mori's last prophecy was that if m the clearing a river did not appear .on tho 28th inst., and all the elect assemble, as she has already foretol', she would suddenly disappear for three I
days. Should she not return after three days, it portendß that the pakeha has made away with her ; then the elect are to arise and avenge her death.
