Australia — High pressure, especially over the south and east ; fine weather ; winds, S. and S.W., except at Sydney, where 5.8 m. of rain has fallen. Barometers— ln New Zealand : At Eussell, 30.1; Wellington, 29.8; Bluff, 29.8. In Australia : At Albany, 30.0 ; Hobart, 30.0 ; Portland, 30.0 ; Sydney, 30.0.
