Shaw Savill and Co.'s new steamship Arawa, drawing 21ft oin aft and 19ft forward, crossed the bar at 7.45 a.m. She brings 3000 tons of cargo, 5S saloon, 50 second, 145 third class and 225 immigrants for all ports. All enjoyed excellent health, and there were no deaths on the voyage. Mrs Watt (an immigrant) was confined of a danghter. The passage from Plymonth took 45 days. The Arawa's steaming time was 41 days 5 hours. The total distance rnn waj 13,167 miles. Auckland, Dec. 24. Arrived — Waratah, from Port Victoria. She experienced a tempestuous passage, and had her sails blown away and topsides damaged. Wellington, Deo. 24. Arrived — Wakatn, s.s., from Kaikonra and Lyttelton ; Rotorua, s.s., from the South. Sailed— Rotorua, s.s., for the North ; Hawea, s.s., for the South ; Hanroto, s.s., for the South. Passengers — Misses R093, Hanson, Gallithorpe, Campbell, Farqnhar, Teesdale and McMillan, Mesdames Baker, Demean and child, and Westmacott, Mr and Mrs Martin and child, Messrs Arundel, Parkinson, Peart, Tripp (2), Ross, Chapman, Grant, Duncan, Macmoore, Woodford, Frisbie, Nation, Jellicoe, Farqnhar, Butler, Stevenson, Whitcombe, Sterin, Brown (2), Wostmacott and Bryant. Gbeyjiouth, Dec. 24. The Star of the South a3 she lies was pnt np to auction to-day, but there wa3 no bid.
